RevJet

Case Study: Simplifying Digital Ad Creation & Management.

Role: Lead UX designer.

Overview

RevJet is a leading platform simplifying digital ad experience management for Fortune 500 marketers. The company’s mission is to streamline the creative process and ensure consistent messaging across various social and native advertising platforms. As the UX Designer at RevJet, I played a crucial role in the development and launch of the new Creative Builder for Social and Native advertising platforms. This tool enables marketers to build once and deliver ads into numerous top platforms, saving valuable time and resources.

Challenge

Marketers often face the challenge of managing creative assets across siloed platforms, leading to inefficiencies and inconsistencies in messaging. The need for a unified platform to update, report, and manage creative content across various social and native publishers was critical. The objective was to create an intuitive, efficient, and seamless tool to simplify these processes and enhance user experience.

Approach

  1. Analyis: Analyzed user workflows and identified key areas for improvement in the ad creation and management process.
  2. Design and Prototyping:
    • Developed wireframes and prototypes for the Creative Builder interface, focusing on ease of use and intuitive navigation.
    • Ensured the interface allowed for quick adaptation of creative content across different platforms, with features for tailoring messages by platform, previewing creatives, and running experiments.
  3. Iterative Testing: Iteratively refined the design based on user feedback, ensuring the tool was both functional and user-friendly.

  • Intuitive Interface: Simplified the process of building and reporting on social and native creative units across platforms.
  • Cross-Platform Consistency: Enabled sharing or tailoring messages by platform with a single click.
  • Preview Functionality: Allowed users to preview creative content in every platform before running.
